The Tortolì Charter: Four of the World’s Longest-Living Communities Join Forces
Representatives from the longevity regions of Sardinia, Okinawa, Nicoya, and Ikaria convened in Tortolì to establish the Charter of Tortolì, creating the International Coordination of Longevity Territories. This initiative aims to share insights on healthy aging while preserving cultural identities, challenging perceptions of aging as decline, and promoting community engagement.
